On Friday we celebrated the National Day Against Bullying and we discussed the importance of being an upstander - helping when someone needs help. A previous blog explained the meaning behind this important day. The students drew what they think bullying and a world without bullying would be like. Wonderful pictures everyone - well done! Hopefully our classroom, our school and our community are always a happy place.
Thank you so much to all the families who have contributes something for our Sun, Surf and Sand Hamper. It is looking great and we hope lots of people will want to buy a ticket to win our hamper. I know I will!
BUT There's more exciting news ... ... Greg Sheehan, our visiting musician, will be demonstrating some of his fabulous percussion techniques at the fete ... AND ... he has chosen our class to perform at the fete! We're very excited about that. SO ... ... we need everyone in 2F to come to the fete ... it will be such a great opportunity There have been a steady stream of Home Reading Folders coming in this week.
Well done to all those students for their regular reading habits. |
